Description
The Dweezil is a strong innovative design for fishing at long distance on the pole although it can also be employed for those deeper than average short to middle distance lines. It is a very stable float due to its long 1mm diameter flexible fibreglass stem which also makes it a dream to use when “shipping” the pole because it minimises tangles caused by pole bounce.
This stem passes through the body of the float and into the tough Hi Viz hollow tip to which is fitted either a standard stainless steel spring eye a Finesse type stainless steel spring eye or an extra strong stainless steel side eye.
It has a rugby ball shaped body of Tech1 foam with a choice of either 1.5mm or 2mm x 40 long tips or 2.5mm x 35 long tips. The smaller sizes lend themselves to a spread bulk and droppers shotting pattern whilst the larger sizes suit the use of an olivette plus droppers. Available in 9 sizes 0.3, 0.5, 0.75, 1g, 1.25g, 1.5g, 2.0g 2.5g and 3g with red, yellow, green or black tips of either 1.5, 2.0 or 2.5mm diameter.

Use the thicker tipped version in windy conditions and don’t be afraid to use a large backshot mid way between float and pole tip or to lay shot on the lake bed in order to steady the rig.
