The New Junction is a silver fish pattern designed for fishing deep and sometimes flowing canals such as the New Junction and Aire and Calder but can be used on any deep venue making it a versatile addition to any float collection.

The New Junction is a silver fish pattern designed for fishing deep and sometimes flowing canals such as the New Junction and Aire and Calder but can be used on any deep venue making it a versatile addition to any float collection. It is made with a Tech 1 rugby ball shaped body with a 0.7 diameter carbon stem which passes through the body of the float and into the 1.2 diameter Hi Viz hollow tip. The float is finished off with a strong 15mm long stainless steel side eye to aid the robust striking sometimes needed on deeper venues. With the combination of Tech 1 foam and a carbon stem the float is designed to carry the maximum shot for its dimensions.
The smaller sizes lend themselves to a spread bulk and droppers shotting pattern whilst the larger sizes suit the use of an Olivette plus droppers. Available in 6 sizes 0.5, 0.75, 1g, 1.25g, 1.5g, and 2.0g with a choice of red, yellow, green or black tips of 1.2mm diameter.
HB Top Tip
In in windy conditions and don’t be afraid to use a backshot mid way between float and pole tip to steady the rig or to lay shot on the lake bed.
