Produced in response to customer demand for a Diamond body shaped bottom float this tough new design is sure to find favour with many anglers. The body is made from the super strong Tech3 foam and the float is built on a long 1mm diameter flexible glass stem which adds to stability and aids shipping out without tangles when fishing “long”.
The float is fitted with a 2mm diameter hollow Hi Viz tip to make the best use of available light and is finished off with an extra strong stainless steel side eye securely fitted and glued 15mm deep into the floats body. There is also the option of an extra side eye which can be fitted at no extra cost to the corner of the body if required.
The Diamonds are available in six sizes – 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1g and 1.5g with a choice of red, yellow, green or black tips. Priced at £2-20p each.
A good all round sensitive design for fishing canals and commercials with light tackle and small baits such as bread punch, pinkie, and bloodworm plus as the name suggests squatts. See details below for more information.
I call this one my “secret weapon” as it is so versatile. This float is a “hybrid” between a pellet float and a paste float and has been acclaimed by some as the best skimmer fishing float on the market. See details below for more information.
The HB Redneck is my first choice of paste float for general paste fishing. Similar to its cousin the HB Shindig but much stronger it is built on a long 1mm diameter flexible glass stem which passes right through the very strong Tech3 foam oval shaped body and supports the first 20mm of the 1.7 mm diameter x 50mm long hollow Hi Viz tip. The float is fitted with a choice of two types of stainless steel spring eye securely glued to the base of the antennae making the HB Redneck a very strong animal indeed and can also be supplied without an eye for those that prefer to use an extra float rubber instead. Having a tip length of around 50mm makes this model very suitable for the paste fishing it was designed for but it also works very well for larger baits such as corn or meat when there is a need to bury the line beneath the surface. It is best fished with a spread bulk for paste or a spread bulk and droppers for corn etc. HB Top Tip People often shy away from fishing paste if there is a strong undertow in their swim. However if you position just enough shot a couple of inches from the hook to hold the unbaited rig still and then adjust the remaining shot so that when the undertow takes full effect there is half the tip showing you will stop the water movement pulling the hook out of the paste. Bites will be big lifts of the float or savage dips sometimes pulling the elastic out of the pole before you can strike.
Designed with the help of and named after top southern paste angler Dave (Pikey) Pearson this is the float to use for fishing paste in those 18” to 3 feet deep margin swims. . See description below for more information.
Have you ever wished that someone made a strong little float for fishing “up the rat holes” on the commercial Snake Lakes but which would double up as a float for fishing smaller baits up in the water ? Well here it is. . See details below for more information.
A super sensitive float aimed at F1 fishing with small soft pellets or maggot on the commercial Snake Lakes but equally at home fishing punch and squatts on your local canal. See details below for more information.
