Description

A much stronger version of the popular Oliver made to cope with the ever increasing size of the Carp and F1’s encountered in many venues today. The bodies are made from a new special 240kg/m3 foam which in all my years of float manufacturing is the strongest I have found. The stem is 0.7 top grade carbon passing right through the body into the High Viz hollow tip. Although aimed mainly at carp this float will also perform well for silvers or mixed bags of fish with a choice of three tip diameters in four colours available. A strong side eye or standard spring eye completes the build and because of the fine grain foam used and the length of the eye they are very securely glued in a couple of millimetres  below the top of the body. This allows the dropper shot to register well as the float settles. The length of these floats means they can be stored on 18cm winders. Available in six sizes from 0.3 to 0.8 and finished in a matt dark grey as shown. Image shows floats with the three tip diameters available. 0.3 to 0.5 have 2mm long tips and 0.6 to 0.8 have 25mm long tips. Click bottom left corner of image for a larger view.

HB Top Tip.

I have gone for a carbon stem on these floats to allow any shot pattern to be used with them. Use the thicker tips for carp and the thinner ones for F1’s and silver fish.
